Medicare to introduce revisions to Chapters 13, 18, and 32 in its Claims Processing Manual as of October 29th, 2021.

In an effort to update current coding guidelines, the CMS has made several adjustments in its Claims Processing Manual. Namely, chapters 13, 18, and 32 have been updated. These three chapters now contain revised information related to radiology services and other diagnostic procedures, preventive & screening services, as well as to special services, such as ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
