CMS Provides Relief for Providers Affected by Change Healthcare/Optum Payment Disruption (CHOPD) 

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have taken action to address the significant impact of the cyberattack on UnitedHealth Group’s subsidiary Change Healthcare/Optum, which occurred in late February. This incident has disrupted healthcare operations nationwide.
