Guiding light: Navigating the No Surprises Act with Jennifer Brown

We welcome Jennifer Brown, JD, to our interview today. Jennifer is Progressive Emergency Physicians’ General Counsel, specializing in healthcare, employment, and corporate law. Jennifer also has extensive experience providing oversight and expertise in revenue cycle management, payor contracting, government advocacy, and regulatory matters. Jennifer graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in English. She is a graduate of the Hofstra University School of Law, which she attended on a merit scholarship. Jennifer’s expertise in the No Surprises Act has recently been recognized with a Rising Star Award from the Emergency Department Physicians Management Association (“EDPMA”) for her outstanding work on the No Surprises Act Implementation Tactical (I-Tact) Task Force. Jennifer’s work on the I-Tact committee crafting member resources and drafting letters to regulators has been instrumental in helping navigate the complexities of the NSA.
