In response to feedback from providers and provider portal users, Emblem Health evaluated the referral process to make it easier for primary care providers (PCPs) to refer members to specialists. Specifically, they simplified the portal transaction to reduce time spent on referrals. Here are the updates:
· Fewer data entry steps.
· Dialysis no longer requires a referral.
