UHC announced the following labs were selected to be part of the Preferred Lab Network, effective July 1, 2021, for commercial, Community Plans, and Medicare & Retirement Plan members:
- AmeriPath Inc.
- BioReference Laboratories, Inc.
- Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc.
- GeneDx
- Invitae Corporation
- LabCorp
- Mayo Clinic Laboratories
- Millennium Health, LLC
- Neogenomics Laboratories, Inc.
- Quest Diagnostics, Inc.
The Preferred Lab Network consists of currently contracted independent, freestanding laboratory care providers that have met higher standards for access, cost, data, quality, and service, based on a rigorous application and review process.
The Preferred Lab Network providers will be highlighted in UHC directories, starting July 1, 2021, to make it easy for members and care providers to identify them.
