Aetna has updated the information about internal and external provider appeal processes on its public website.
If you use the New Jersey Health Care Provider Application to Appeal a Claims Determination form (PDF) when submitting certain claims appeals, you should make sure your claim is eligible. You can find this form and the correct procedures on Aetna’s public website.
