The Workers’ Compensation Board is currently developing a new online business information system, OnBoard, in an effort to replace the Board’s legacy paper-based claims systems with a single, web-based platform.
This portal will ensure increased accuracy, paperless transactions, and a user-friendly interface for interacting with the Board. Specifically, it will allow healthcare providers to submit prior authorization requests for medication, durable medical equipment, and medical treatment or testing online. The portal will be available for limited release on March 7, 2022, at http://www.wcb.ny.gov/onboard/.
