The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services NCCI promotes national correct coding methodologies to minimize improper coding. Improper coding is the root cause of inappropriate payments for Medicare Part B claims and Medicaid claims. The Medicaid NCCI program is significantly different from the Medicare NCCI program.
