Empire Is Assigning Its Provider Agreement to Beacon

Beacon Health Options, Inc. (Beacon) was acquired by the parent company of Empire back in March 2020. As a result, the Empire behavioral health provider network and Beacon provider network are being merged.  

As soon as the merger is in action, Empire enters into a contract with Beacon to access behavioral health providers in Empire’s service areas. Consequently, impacted behavioral health providers will start receiving a formal email stating that Empire is assigning their provider agreement in whole to Beacon.
