Recently, we embarked on a virtual journey to Venice with our wonderful guide, Andrea Manoz. This livestream was filled with rich history, cultural insights, and captivating views of one of the world’s most romantic cities. We had the opportunity to ask Andrea questions and engage with each other, enhancing our team spirit.
As we explored the piazzas of Venice, we saw how modern Venetians live and learned how the city came to be built on water.
Our tour began at the oldest place in town where gondolas are made. We crossed the Accademia Bridge, enjoying one of the most iconic views of the city. Next, we discovered secret doors and palaces, walked through once-dangerous alleyways, and arrived at Venice’s main square, home to St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, and the famous Bell and Clock Towers. Taking in the view, our guide shared with us stories of the Doges and the execution pillars, and we took a closer look at the surrounding architectural masterpieces.
This virtual tour not only enriched our knowledge of Venice but also strengthened our team bonds. Sharing such a unique experience brought us closer, reinforcing the family spirit that defines WCH.
