Two Deadlines Are Coming for Your Practice. WCH Handles Both.

Two regulatory changes are landing on practices at the same time. Both depend on the details your team already struggles to keep current.

New York Medicaid revalidation is underway.
The old paper process is gone, and everything now runs through the new Provider Services Portal (PSP). Once your notice goes out, you have 123 calendar days to complete revalidation. Missing the deadline can mean termination of your Medicaid enrollment and interrupted billing. If your correspondence address or email on file is out of date, you may not even know the clock has started.

Medicare Advantage provider directories are about to get stricter.
CMS has proposed that, from contract year 2028, MA plans verify every listed provider at least every 90 days. Plans will ask your practice to confirm addresses, participation status, new-patient acceptance and telehealth details, and they will pass directory-accuracy duties down to you by contract. A one-time cleanup will not hold under that schedule. The rule is still a proposal, and comments are open until December 15, 2026.

What WCH does for you

  • NY Medicaid revalidation: We guide you through the PSP, prepare your enrollment information and documents, update provider and practice demographics, submit the revalidation, and track it through to completion. That includes answering any follow-up requests.
  • Annual insurance contract maintenance: Within the agreed scope of work, we help keep provider data current, coordinate updates, and keep your records consistent across the systems we cover, so your practice is ready when plans come asking.

With more than 25 years in credentialing and provider enrollment, we are working through the NY Medicaid PSP transition with our clients right now.
