NY State Medicaid: Attention: There Are Changes to Pharmacies, Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supply Providers, and Prescribers That Are Not Enrolled in Medicaid Fee-for-Service

Beginning on April 1, 2021, per the State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2020-21 enacted budget, the pharmacy benefit for New York State (NYS) Medicaid Managed Care [Mainstream, Health and Recovery Plan (HARP) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)-Special Needs Plan (SNP)] members will be transitioned to the NYS Medicaid fee-for-service (FFS) Pharmacy Program. DMEPOS providers must be enrolled in the FFS program as billing providers in order to continue to serve Medicaid Managed Care members.
