Fidelis care now requires an authorization for several new procedure codes

Healthcare providers who participate with FidelisCare are now obliged to obtain prior approval for some outpatient surgery and DME services. Read along to get a full list of CPT codes affected by this new regulation.
FidelisCare has issued a major authorization policy update. Effective January 1, 2022, healthcare providers are required to obtain prior authorization for dozens of procedure codes performed on Medicaid, Medicare, Essential Plan, & Metal Level plan members. Below is a list of the affected new CPT codes, divided by their types of service.
