NYSIF: Change to authorization request process

NYSIF will stop accepting prior authorization requests (PAR) made directly by providers. Effective May 2, 2022, all PARs must be submitted through the Workers’ Compensation Board’s OnBoard portal, which will automatically route the request to the appropriate claim administrator for review. Given this, paper forms can no longer be faxed, emailed, or mailed.
