Starting October 1, 2022, there will be a need to request prior authorization for all visits after the SOC visit. This is applicable for UnitedHealthcare® Medicare Advantage and Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNP).
Visits included in the prior authorization list are:
• Resumption of care (ROC)• Continuation of care• Recertification and • Additional services
