New IPA for providers in Long Island and Queens
Catholic Health is an independent physician association that partners with multiple plans such as:
- Healthfirst
- Fidelis Care
- Humana
- Cigna
- Aetna
- Healthplus
- Blue Cross
This option is an excellent opportunity if you cannot enroll directly with insurance plans.
Versant Health
Unfortunately, many providers face certain difficulties with Davis and Superior Vision networks during the credentialing process because of the lack of plans after being approved.
Providers noticed that even after receiving notification of approval from Versant Health, not all plans are loaded into the system and are still out of network.
Be careful and verify whether all plans were added before starting billing claims.
Drugs Prescribers’ News
We want to remind you that effective September 1st, all providers who prescribe drugs for Managed Care patients must be enrolled with Medicaid as a Fee for Service.
Not all practitioners and pharmacy providers will meet the criteria for registration.
Those providers who have applied for enrollment can check the status of their application in the Medicaid Pending Provider Listing file, which is updated weekly on the website.
