Verify Bank Account Information to Prevent Interruption in Medicare Payment 

Frozen or closed bank accounts are the most common reason for rejections and interruptions in Medicare payments. National Government Services receives many Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) rejections cases each month for the same reason.  

Billing providers must ensure that an active bank account is connected to the provider enrollment record to eliminate any issues in Medicare payments.
