AMA Launches New Resource to Streamline Training for Managing Substance Use Disorders

The American Medical Association (AMA) has introduced a comprehensive resource on the AMA Ed Hub™ to assist physicians and practitioners in fulfilling the new eight-hour training requirement issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. This user-friendly page serves as a centralized platform, allowing DEA-registered healthcare professionals to easily access Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses that fulfill the training requirement.
