Medicaid Program Expansion Offers Comprehensive Healthcare for Undocumented Immigrants Aged 65 and Over 

In a significant development aimed at enhancing healthcare access for undocumented non-citizens, EmblemHealth has announced the expansion of its Medicaid Managed Care plan to include individuals aged 65 and over. Effective January 1, 2024, this expansion marks a crucial step forward in providing comprehensive health services to a previously underserved population. 

Before this expansion, undocumented non-citizens aged 65 and over were limited to emergency medical services through their Medicaid card. However, with this recent initiative, these individuals now have access to a wide range of healthcare services offered by EmblemHealth.
