Horizon Provides Clarity Amidst Communication from Optum Health Regarding Change Healthcare 

In light of recent communication from Optum Health, the parent company of Change Healthcare, regarding an “Active Payer List,” Horizon seeks to clarify its current status regarding Change Healthcare’s operations. Despite the information conveyed in this communication, Horizon emphasizes that it has not reconnected to Change Healthcare’s systems, as the majority of its infrastructure remains inaccessible. 

While Horizon is collaborating with Optum to test their temporary iEDI (Integrated Electronic Data Interchange) solution, it is essential to note that Horizon is not currently connected to this interim solution. This distinction is crucial as Horizon continues to navigate the aftermath of the cybersecurity incident that has disrupted Change Healthcare’s operations.
