Florida Medicaid Enrollment Deadline Approaching: Urgent Action Required for Healthcare Providers 

As of September 1, 2024, the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) will begin terminating registered provider IDs for healthcare providers who have not yet enrolled with Florida Medicaid. This change is in compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements, and the deadline for enrollment has already passed. If providers are not enrolled, they will no longer be able to receive Medicaid reimbursements or treat Medicaid patients. 

What Does This Mean for Providers?
