There is a particular kind of vulnerability that does not announce itself. No breach notification. No audit letter. No subpoena. Just a quiet accumulation of publicly available numbers — procedure codes, payment amounts, utilization volumes — being read by someone you have never met, in a city you have never visited, building a case you do not yet know exists.

This is the current reality of healthcare billing compliance. And most organizations are not prepared for it.
