This edition focuses on Arslan Suleymanov, one of our primary account representatives. Arslan believes that Artificial Intelligence will become widespread in the world of healthcare, helping to reduce human-caused errors and delays, and that WCH will be at the forefront of this development. Read on to know more about Arslan and what he has to say!
Nice to have you here, Arslan. Before we go into your job with WCH, tell us a few things about you — your favorite music, movies, books, or anything else.
I am Arslan Suleymanov, a member of this incredible WCH team. I’m a big fan of heavy metal and rock music. That’s quite a smooth transition of mine, and it happened a couple of years ago; before then, I used to love hip-hop mostly. I even composed and performed several rap songs at high school.
If we are going to talk about books, these days I mostly read non-fiction literature. I read academic works, biographies, and other materials related to history, society, governance, and politics. Also, I enjoy reading dystopian novels and novels dedicated to a society of the future — such as 1984 by George Orwell, for example. As for movies, I rarely watch movies. It’s been like that since last year because I have little time. But when I do have time, I tend to watch something on Netflix. I never watch videos or films in my native language. Every piece of content that I consume is either in English or in French.
Do you have a hobby? What do you like to do in your free time?
I am passionate about many things, but mainly, my job, history, politics, and reading. I try to read as much as possible every day. In addition to this, I also produce my own content — I write short stories from time to time, working on my own book, which I am not sure when I will publish. Also, I adore poetry. I used to write poems, and I even participated in several poetry competitions. But I’ve violated my own principle of never giving up — I gave up on it. However, I write mainly in English.
Interesting. Name three of your favorite things/activities in the world.
It’s quite hard to pick three things. Let’s say that every aspect that I enjoy Is my favorite thing. It can be anything — from successfully helping a client with his affair, to eating a delicious meal with friends or reading an interesting book.
That means anything can become your favorite activity including work. And this is good. But what do you dream about? Is it travel? Your business? kids? To become the President of the world or to make a movie?
I dream of leaving a legacy in this world. Not a material one, a sack of money, or a huge chateau in Paris. Instead, I dream of changing the current world order. I want my legacy to be remembered by many people. This can also be writing a wonderful book or becoming the President.
That’s a huge one. Let’s proceed to WCH. Was it easy for you to join the work of WCH and the Billing department in particular?
Yes, it was relatively easy. Thanks to our incredible team. Even though I had quite a little work experience at the time when I got a job at WCH, I didn’t have any problems related to work because my colleagues helped me (and still help) in many aspects.
That’s great. What are your responsibilities now?
I am a primary account representative overlooking the billing flow for clients of WCH. My aspiring qualifications are planning and conducting webinars. Also, I took part in composing some articles published in our newsletter in 2020. On a daily basis, I communicate with clients, answer their most extraordinary questions, and provide a solution for every issue they need help with. Since WCH has many clients, and each of them is equally important, I often get help from my colleagues and my supervisor to carry out my duties competently.
What advice do you give to your clients and potential clients reading this article?
If we take the “professional” aspect into account — please,— talk to your account representative from time to time. Proper communication is extremely important when trying to understand what is going on with your practice. Your account representative or biller is not just a person who “receives your billing and sends invoices” but an open book that can help you be in touch with everything that’s been happening to your claims.
As for potential clients, my only advice is this: just seek the services of WCH, and that’s it! You will be glad you did.
How do you see the future of WCH and the healthcare industry as a whole?
WCH Service bureau will definitely do many big things. But as a company, we will conquer the global market of the healthcare billing and reimbursement industry step-by-step. WCH Service Bureau will not only offer our clients the best benefits but in the nearest future will become a leader not only in the tri-state area but also nationwide. Of course, this would not be possible without the help of innovative technologies.
I believe that Artificial Intelligence would become extremely widespread in the sphere of healthcare. Aside from robots performing complex surgeries and AI-machines making precise patients’ diagnoses, I believe that AI would also rock in the healthcare reimbursement industry.
Imagine that your claims could be created and processed in a matter of a second, eliminating any human-caused errors and delays. Yes, that’s possible. Certainly, WCH Service Bureau would be the first to implement any revolutionary technology in this market because that’s the way we are, and that’s what makes this company better than the majority of its competitors!
How do you think IT products will develop in the field of medicine?
As I have just mentioned, AI would become widespread. Day by day, healthcare providers and patients would get rid of any human interaction because technology will replace us, mortal beings, in taking some simple routine tasks.
Nowadays, more and more people have access to the internet, and soon, the healthcare industry will say goodbye to good old paper superbills, huge books with medical records, and appointments by calling.
How do you see your future in WCH? What gives you the impetus to progress?
I see a tangible career ladder while working at this company. I plan to raise my grade and get several professional certifications, which would, of course, improve my attitude towards work.
What would you like to wish people who are striving for their dreams?
I have developed a personal rule of 3 NEVERs: Never give up, Never rely on somebody else, and never stop learning. Those are the principles which I would advise people to follow. The majority of those who start following their dream give up as soon as they see an obstacle because they are scared, and those who are not scared may start to cry for help, asking other people to push them towards their dream.
These “not scared” people are not wise, because trust is the most unstable thing in this world. One should only fully trust oneself, one’s mind, and nobody else! Those who do trust themselves and do not rely on other people may think that they are invisible and control the universe. These people deceive themselves; they stop learning and then give up on self-improvement.
However, to become successful, I believe that you should never stop learning new things. Even though these new things may seem obsolete and you might think that you’d never use them — that is absolutely not true — there will come a time you will need them. You should know as much as possible to be prepared for everything that can happen. As Romans used to say: “Si vis pacem – para bellum — if you want peace, prepare for the war”.
