A batch of procedure codes will soon require authorization and a site of care medical necessity review
UnitedHealthcare has published a list of types of injectable medications that will require prior authorization starting from April 1, 2022. In addition, some of those drugs will require a site of care medical necessity review in accordance with the billed place of service.
