Empire: New compulsory cultural competence training

The New York State Department of Health has recently introduced cultural competence training for healthcare providers called “Think Cultural Health”. Its primary goal is to ensure that healthcare providers are fully compliant with the current cultural competence guidelines and that they are providing top-quality services to their patients. Empire requires its participating practitioners to enroll in this course and provide proof of its completion to Empire by the end of the calendar year.
