As of May 11, 2023, the federal Public Health Emergency (PHE) has expired, signaling the conclusion of the Provisional Temporary Provider Enrollment (PTPE) in the New York State (NYS) Medicaid program. Temporarily enrolled providers must take action to either complete the full paper enrollment process or voluntarily terminate their participation, as specified by the New York State Department of Health (DOH). This article aims to inform providers about the steps they need to take to ensure their continued enrollment in the NYS Medicaid program.
