Davis Vision Transitions Vision Benefits Administration for Montefiore Diamond Care MLTC 

On January 1, 2024, Davis Vision will cease to administer vision benefits for members enrolled in Montefiore Diamond Care Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC). This shift will impact the way providers interact with Davis Vision for this specific group of patients. 

Key Points to Note: 

1. Service Continuity Until December 31, 2023: 

• Davis Vision will continue its regular operations for eligibility verification and claims adjudication for services with dates of service on or before December 31, 2023. Providers are urged to ensure timely claim submissions. 

2. Appeals Handling During the Run-Out Period: 

• Davis Vision commits to addressing appeals related to claims that are timely filed during the run-out period. It will be done by existing contractual agreements and benefit coverage.
